Tournament victory for Kewstoke juniors

Kewstoke Under-12s on the annual SCI tournament, held in Berrow and Weston.
KEWSTOKE Under-12s won the annual SCI tournament, held in Berrow and Weston.
Teams of different age groups travelled from as far as South Wales, Worcestershire, South Gloucestershire and Bristol. Local teams Weston Crusaders, Milton Nomads, Worle Juniors and Kewstoke Juniors also took part.
Kewstoke’s competition finished in a nail-biting 11-a-side penalty shootout with Worcestershire visitors Westbury Celtic. The final was eventually decided when a save from the Kewstoke keeper tipped the balance in their favour.
An evening presentation which was co-hosted by former Manchester United and Aston Villa player Dion Dublin, which saw all participants awarded trophies.
