LOCAL martial arts instructor Nigel Helps, who teaches in Worle, has again taken top honours at an open British martial arts championships held in Bristol

LOCAL martial arts instructor Nigel Helps, who teaches in Worle, has again taken top honours at an open British martial arts championships held in Bristol.Aged 47, a time when many people his age are taking things easy, Nigel spends several evening each week week practicing and teaching martial arts. Having won a vacant British title last November in the veterans' division which he hopes to defend in November of this year in Devon, he took two third place awards at the Dragon open British championships.Nigel is now looking for new members of all ages who are keen to follow in his footsteps.
