YATTON Junior Football Club chairman Peter Matley was delighted to announce the club is moving to the next level in its development.
The club has been at the heart of the local community have been established over 40 years ago. The latest project where the club has worked in partnership with the Football Foundation, the FA, Somerset FA and the Yatton Parish Council is in the completion of a state of the art third generation (3G) floodlight training area at Rock Road, Yatton.
This will deliver two Futsal pitches in an enclosed 40mx40m training area. This will provide the members of Yatton Junior Football Club with one of the most advanced facilities in North Somerset
Initial site works have already started at Rock Road, but the final phase with major works start this week. The project is expected to take eight weeks to complete.
Yatton Athletic has squads from Under-6 to 18. This season there have been Under-6-8 training and friendly matches have been played.
