UK's top water skiers to compete at Weston

The country's top water skiers will descend on Weston for the British National Water Ski Race on the weekend of August 16-17.
OVER 30 high-speed boats will be racing at Weston later this month.
Spectators at Knightstone Island will have the best vantage point to watch some of the country’s top water skiers competing at high speeds.
The British National Water Ski Race is being held in Weston Bay over the weekend of August 16-17. This event is the final qualifying round of the team selection for the World Championships, which will be held in New Zealand in April 2015.
The race is hosted by Weston Bay Water Sports Club in conjunction with North Somerset Council, the Pavilion Bar, Il Michelangelo, Western Equipment Supplies and RJ Marine & Engineering Services.
After the racing, fans can also enjoy an award presentation at the Pavilion Bar at 3pm on Sunday.
