Fighters from Weston Warriors enjoyed success, with members fighting in Bridgwater and Chippenham.

WESTON Warriors Kickboxing Club was out in force with fighters competing in Bridgwater and Chippenham.

The weekend started with top female Warrior Zoe Hackwood fighting in a TFC (www.totalfullcontact.com) cage event in Bridgwater against Nicola Giles.

Zoe showed her potential with a great performance and fought with strength and determination to keep the local fighter on the back foot and had to dig in to ensure a unanimous win.

The crowd were on there feet and this was one of the best fights of the night. Zoe is now preparing for her TFC title fight in Yeovil on June 28.

Lewis Mulhall took a team of Weston Warriors to Chippenham to fight in an event called the battle at the coliseum, open to juniors and adults alike.

Oliver Millard, Danny Mansfield, Jack Goodman, Andrew Fowler, Ethan Chew, Wayne Bird and Jack Nutall, all represented the club and came away with medals and certificates.

Coach Stuart Davies said: “It was another great weekend for the club with adults and juniors competing from as young as five-years-old.”
