A SECOND Sandocross event of the year will be held on Sunday after more competitors signed up for the event.
There were initial concerns that it would be cancelled due to a lack of interest but the unique race day will go ahead.
The historic event, held on Weston Sands in Uphill, will run from 9.30am-3.30pm.
Sandocross has been organised by Weston Motor Club for more than 40 years and organisers say it is the only event of its kind in the UK.
Spectators will be able to watch the event for free.
