Village hall cheque

Successful tournament held by Hutton Short Mat Bowls Club.

HUTTON Short Mat Bowls Club recently hosted a successful tournament at Hutton Village Hall, drawing teams from far and near.

Club members worked tirelessly to put on a marvellous day of bowling and providing lunches and refreshments.

A cheque for �500, the proceeds from the club’s sterling efforts, was presented to Eileen Wade, treasurer of the village hall committee.

Thanks go to everyone involved for the donation which will provide refurbishments to the hall’s kitchen facilities.
