WESTON FC have boosted their midfield ahead of Saturday’s match against Boreham Wood with a new signing.
The Seagulls have swooped for Paulton Rovers’ Ben Cleverley after boss Craig Laird spent much of the week in negotiations.
It will be Cleverley’s second spell at the club, after he spent the second half of the 2009/10 season at The Woodspring Stadium.
Craig said: “I have been keen to sign Ben for some while now and he will fit naturally into the way we play.
“He is a born ball player who can step up a gear to attack opposition defences. Ben will be a huge asset to the Club and we are excited about the future with him in the squad.”
