Weston Golf Club have built a brand-new Pro Shop, located by the clubhouse.
The new shop now has an indoor teaching studio which is equipped with a state-of-the-art golf simulator.
And the club are delighted to be able to offer this to members and visitors and feel it will be invaluable.
This has been made possible by Head PGA Professional Ben Lock and a generous donation from beloved and past captain Anthony McEvoy.
Anthony had a passion for golf and Weston and his legacy was to help fund this teaching studio to encourage people young and old to explore their own passion for the sport.
The club started the building at the start of 2020 and are delighted that during this current climate they have managed to be able to achieve this.
Anthony's wife Mandy McEvoy came to open The Anthony McEvoy Training Academy and the club are extremely proud to have this legacy for him and have a plaque and photo proudly displayed.
"We will always remember Anthony and appreciate what he has done for the golf club," said a club spokesperson.
"We look forward to welcoming you to our new facilities. We have lesson packages and vouchers available and the studio is open for hire. Please contact our Head Professional Ben Lock 01934 626968 on option two."
