Weston-super-Mare will have to endure another postponement after a pitch inspection put paid to tomorrow’s (Saturday) match with Maidstone United.
The Seagulls have yet to play on their own pitch in 2016 – and have not run out at the Woodspring Stadium since December 19 – following a string of postponements, largely involving their FA Trophy first round tie with Wealdstone.
An 11am pitch inspection was carried out today following overnight showers, and a local referee deemed the pitch flooded and unplayable.
A new date for the Vanarama South encounter has yet to be announced, and Weston’s next fixture will instead be away at Hemel Hempstead Town next Saturday.
