The Windsor Castle remain top of the Weston Proper Job Midweek League after defeating Athletico by eight wickets.

JAMIE Biddle took three wickets to help Windsor Castle dismiss Athletico for 121 in Division 1 of the Weston Proper Job Midweek Cricket League.

George Chapman and Chris Davidson both top scored with 32. Biddle scored 40 not out and Rich Carter 47 not out as the Windsor won by eight wickets.

In Division 2, Belvedere maintained their lead at the top of the table with a victory over the Coach House. Kevin Crockett took 2-14 off five overs as the Coach House were restricted to 115 all out, with R Long scoring 33. J Stevens made 37 as Belvedere prevailed by seven wickets.

The Coach House and Parpagon Carriers met twice recently with differing outcomes. In the first match, the Coach House posted 136-3 with J Maine making 55 and Dave Mitchell 30. The reply was restricted to 97-7, leaving the Coach House victorious by 39 runs.

In the second game, Ian Joyner took 2-6, Ashley Joyner 2-4 and Bilal Raja 2-6 to dismiss the Coach House for 90, despite 40 from Alec Foukes. Dave Morris with 52 not out and Ashley Joyner with 34 not out saw the carriers home by eight wickets.
