WESTON Swimming Club got off to a great start to this year s Southern Junior League competition, competing against Claysmore, Melksham, Swindon, Southwold and Wells and Shepton Mallet.

WESTON Swimming Club got off to a great start to this year's Southern Junior League competition, competing against Claysmore, Melksham, Swindon, Southwold and Wells and Shepton Mallet. The youngsters took a top three placing in every event to win the first round of the competition. Of the 49 races the swimmers took 29 first places. Well done to the 10 year girls 4 x 1 medley team of Emily Watkins, Millie Dadds, Evan King and Brooke Edwards. The girls 12 years medley relay of Holly Gullick, Lucy Davies, Sadie Coles and Jennie Kuht. Boys 12 years medley of Scott Bradley, Luke Johnson, James Gahame and Ali Jones.
