World class line-up for next Fightclub

WESTON Academy of Martial Arts and Warrior Gym have secured an amazing line-up of world-class fighters for their forthcoming extreme event at Hutton Moor

WESTON Academy of Martial Arts and Warrior Gym have secured an amazing line-up of world-class fighters for their forthcoming extreme event at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre in Weston on July 14.Stuart Davies has been in negotiations with one of the world's top mixed martial artists, Leo Negao, of Brazil. The Carlson Gracie Brazilian ju jitsu instructor and former BJJ world champion will be facing the Swiss champion Yasubey Enomoto in this world-class professional MMA fight. UFC, cage rage and Cage Warriors all have an interest in Leo and all eyes will be on him to perform at this event in this his first UK fight.His opponent Yasubey Enomoto is Swiss national champion with an unbeaten record in Thai boxing and Pro MMA. This will be an international fightclub WAMA title fight and will be one of the main events in this awesome show.Weston's Paul Hill will be fighting for the WUMA professional heavyweight world kickboxing title. Paul, who works for Carbase in Weston and trains at Warrior Gym, is training every morning with Stuart for the fight.Paul said: "I can't believe this fight has come around. I have trained for years and always wanted to prove myself at the very top. This is my chance to achieve my ambition and, with Stuart's direction and training, I know I will have the belt at the end of the night."The other main event will see the exciting super bantamweight Barry Lock defending his Wuma professional title. Barry fought in January on the last Fightclub event and was probably involved in the best kickboxing fight ever seen in the UK. It was aired all over Europe.Weston Warrior Adam Kellaway, aged 17, will also be fighting his third full contact bout. Adam is a promising unbeaten fighter with excellent all-round ability. Stuart has already used his influence as a professional boxing trainer with the British Boxing Board to drum up interest in Adam with top professional manager Jim Evans.Paul Healy, Charlie Walbridge, and Luke Green will be representing Weston Warrior Gym and competing under full contact kickboxing rules.This event will be held in a boxing ring and will be aired on Sky sports-TWC fight channel from August 9 for six days. This is a major fight show event and to have it sanctioned in Weston is a major achievement for the Weston Warrior Gym.Warrior Gym and WAMA are situated in Sunnyside Road and have a full-time martial arts-boxing gym with a professional boxing ring.
