Wrington Redhill Reserves were knocked out of the Atwell Shield by Division 1 side Hutton.

A MUCH-improved second half performance was not enough to stop the Wrington exiting the Atwell Shield after failing to overcome a poor first period which Division 1 side Hutton capitalised upon to put the game safe.

Wrington started slowly and were soon behind as Briggs conceded an own goal from a Hutton free-kick. Further soft goals followed on 19 and 32 minutes.

After the break, Wrington fell further behind against the run of play, but they kept pushing and scored through Johnson and Moore.

Wrington had another penalty claim waved away and also had a goal disallowed as they continued to attack.
