Yatton reach the final after 13-goal thriller

Yatton Athletic Under-18s fought back from 4-0 down to reach the final of the cup.

YATTON Athletic Under-18s won an exciting semi-final against Gala 7-6 after extra time.

After 30 minutes, Yatton found themselves 4-0 down. However, the home side finally got their act together and by full-time had levelled at 5-5. Extra time brought more drama, with Yatton running out eventual winners 7-6.

Bizarrely, Yatton had seven individual names on the score sheet - Will Taplin, Paul Bailey, Tom Sheridan, Charlie Ferris, Kody Mortimer, Jack Smith and Michael Beck.

Yatton are now looking forward to the Bristol and Gloucester Under-18 Combination League Cup final on April 27 at Brislington.
