Then Compton had a dangerous cross cut out by Wilkinson four minutes later.Weston brought on Marvin Brown for Clark and Marc McGregor for Partridge, and Grubb and Compton had efforts on target, but Welling struck again on 82 minutes when Charlie Sheringham, son of former England star Teddy, rounded Purnell and fired into the empty net.WESTON STATSGoals: Welling, Ming (37), Johnson (45), Sheringham (82).Shots on target: Weston 4, Welling 6.Shots off target: Weston 2, Welling 4.Corners: Weston 1, Welling 6.Offsides: Weston 5, Welling 3.Free kicks conceded: Weston 14, Welling 16.Referee: Matt Rushton (Pewsey, Wiltshire).
