Uphill Castle Cricket Club held their youth presentations after a dads v lads match was abandoned due to rain.

THE annual pre-presentation dads v lads match at Uphill Castle was abandoned due to a sudden downpour halfway through the dads’ innings.

Afterwards, the youth team presentations took place and the winners were as follows – Under-11 best batsman: Kruz Belcher; best bowler: Archit Singhal; most improved: Matthew Davis. Under-13s: Harry Oultram; Keiran Chapman; Matthew Davis. Under-15s A: Jake Llewellyn; George Chapman; Adam Francis. B team: Jack Biggs; Steve Watts; Lawry Nicholson. Under-17s: Jake Llewellyn; Nick Kuht; Rob Latham. Youth player of the year: Jake Llewellyn.

The Under-15s and Under-17s were winners of the league plate.
