A Weston-super-Mare dance school will be taking to the stage to show off their talents in their annual end-of-year show.
Talented youngsters from Tina Counsell’s School of Dance, based in Baker Street, will be performing in a show at The Playhouse.
Tina Counsell Presents The Showtime Express promises to be a whistle-stop adventure packed with songs and dance.
Audiences will be taken on a journey around various locations while dancers, aged from four years old to adult, will demonstrate different dance styles from across the world.
Tina told the Mercury: “We are going on a train and stopping off at different locations and sampling the dancing and music of those locations.
“We will be stopping at Graceland for an Elvis medley, we will be travelling through the Wild West and there will be a Viennese waltz at the Venetian Festival of Masks.”
Tina Counsell Presents The Showtime Express will be taking to the stage at the High Street venue at 7pm on July 9.
Tickets, priced £14 for adults and £12 for children, are available from 01934 645544 or online via www.theplayhouse.co.uk
The show also offers a chance to raise money for charity, as there will be a collection for Weston Hospicecare at the end.
