Barry’s alter egos have brought him international acclaim and made him a star around the globe.

Eat Pray Laugh! will give audiences across the country the chance to bid farewell to arguably Australia’s greatest entertainment export, and his unforgettable characters: the Honorable Sir Les Patterson, Sandy Stone and, of course, the iconic Dame Edna Everage.

Dame Edna is one of the greatest stars of the past 50 years - having played the West End and Broadway on numerous occasions, performing to packed theatres including the Royal Albert Hall at the Last Night of the Poms, as well as countless performances for the Royal Family.

Act one of Eat Pray Laugh! features gentle, grandfatherly Sandy Stone and the inebriated cultural attaché Sir Les Patterson.

Surrounded by spectacular sets and dancers, Dame Edna promises to empower audiences as she meditates on the big issues of gender, ethnicity and climate change.

Humphries has already taken his final triumphant bow to audiences throughout Australia and New Zealand where, due to extraordinary demand for tickets to see the iconic performer, satirist, artist and comedian, additional performances needed to be added across the tour to satisfy the demand of more than 250,000 adoring fans.

This brand new show is directed by award-winning Australian theatre director Simon Phillips, who directed the original Priscilla Queen of the Desert, with design by Tony Award-winning Brian Thomson, who designed the original Australian and London productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and The Rocky Horror Show, as well as the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games.

The Bristol show will be from February 18-22, 2014.
