FUNNYMAN Dan Mitchell will bring his inimitable style to Weston for the first time on October 5.
Mitchell was the runner-up in ITV’s hit show and talent search Show Me The Funny and will perform at the Green Baize Sports Bar next month.
The Cardiff-based comic narrowly missed out on victory in the 2011 show and has been described by fellow comedian Ross Noble as ‘absolutely brilliant’.
He will be joined on the line-up by Manos The Greek, an established stand-up who has entertained thousands of people across the land with his routines on Greek life – the Edinburgh Fringe guide Three Weeks said last year: “See Manos, laugh and learn something along the way.”
Completing the bill will be Weston’s own Mark Hurman, who has been steadily building his own reputation as one of the South West’s most consistent and creative comedians.
Tickets are priced 5 and are available from the sports bar in North Street or the Tudor Market Bookshop in High Street.
