A SOMERSET five-piece will perform their first-ever gig in Weston this month.

Kyotie, consisting of guitarist and songwriter Claire Gaynor, bassist Paul Bryant, lead guitarist Jason Grey, drummer Paul Whittington and guitarist Steve Brown, will perform at the Live Lounge at 8pm on February 23.

The Burnham act have a wide repertoire of covers to draw on, ranging from country rock favourites such as The Eagles, Tom Petty, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift as well as mainstream rock songs by Pat Benetar, the Foo Fighters and Del Amitri.

Having played extensively in Burnham and in cities including Bristol and Exeter, they will perform their first-ever gig in Weston at the West Street venue after a gig at Campbell’s Landing in Clevedon on Sunday.

Both gigs are free.
