WORLE Operatic and Dramatic Society will perform the comic musical, The Pajama Game, at The Playhouse, Weston, from November 16-18.Written by Jerry Ross and Richard Adler, it is filled with great song and dance routines and colourful characters.Set during a trade union dispute, the drama revolves around factory superintendent Sid and head of the grievance committee Babe as they find themselves romantically drawn together.However, Sid has to fire Babe and the workers go on strike for more money. Will the workers win or will they all lose their jobs when the factory goes bust?An entertaining family show, The Pajama Game will be performed by Worle Ops to their usual standard.* Tickets, priced £9-11, are available from the box office on 01934 645544.
