Mar 8: ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES. Alan Ayckbourn’s gripping dark comedy sees Ez and Barry taking part in a hare-brained undercover military operation at a London station. He is a traffic warden, the one person able to identify a dangerous terrorist. She is a special forces soldier assigned as his minder. A series of memories and flashbacks reveal more than you can imagine.

Mar 6-8: TIME OF MY LIFE. The first major revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s compelling psychological comedy since its West End run in 1993. Laura is celebrating her 45th birthday with a small family dinner at their favourite restaurant. But, as their evening proceeds, skeletons from the past and a spectre of the future are revealed.

Mar 8: FARCICALS. A chance to see two inter-connected one-act plays. In Chloë With Love, Teddy’s marriage to Lottie is going through a difficult period. Cue neighbours Penny and Reggie to the rescue. But who is Chloë? In The Kidderminster Affair, Teddy’s garden barbecue becomes a hotbed of sexual intrigue. Will Lottie discover the awful truth about Kidderminster?

Mar 10-16. MOSCOW CITY BALLET. The world famous company presents two popular productions - the world’s most famous love story, Romeo and Juliet, is staged on the 10th and 11th and the exquisite Swan Lake is performed from the 12th-16th.

Mar 17-22: A LIFE OF GALILEO. A thrilling production from the Royal Shakespeare Company sees one of the UK’s finest actors, Ian McDiarmid, reprising his astonishing performance as Galileo, leading a huge ensemble cast in a theatrical tour-de-force.

Mar 23: POSTMAN PAT LIVE. There’s much excitement as a top talent scout will be at the Great Greendale Talent Show on the lookout for a rising star. But when the karaoke machine breaks down it looks like the show might be in jeopardy. Can Pat save the day?

Mar 19 (The Lantern): JOEL DOMMETT. The star of BBC3’s Impractical Jokers and Russell Howard’s Good News is one of the fastest rising stars on the UK comedy circuit having gained rave reviews for his solo Edinburgh shows in 2011 and 2012.

Mar 22: JIMEOIN. Hilarious world-class stand-up from one of live comedy’s internationally acclaimed masters. Jimeoin’s ever-evolving live show is a fluid mixture of his signature observational comedy, and hawk-eyed dissections of life as we know it, with all its absurdities.

Mar 22 (The Lantern): THE BEST IN UK STAND-UP - IAN STONE & CO. A comedy showcase for “a masterful exponent of self-mocking Jewish humour” (The Times). Described as “a cross between Tony Hancock and Frankie Howerd” Ian has appeared on Mock The Week, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and The Comedy Store.

Mar 13-15: JACK THE RIPPER. WODS Musical Theatre Company presents the Weston debut of Jack the Ripper. Centred on the murders in Whitechapel in the autumn of 1884, this gripping story has been made into a thought provoking and entertaining musical.

Mar 15: GREAT WESTERN CHORUS 40th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT. Formed in 1974, The Great Western Chorus of Bristol has been bringing joy and entertainment to British, European and American audiences ever since. Special guests are Waves of Harmony, Weston’s very own ladies acapella chorus, and 2013 silver medallist quartet, Park Street.

Mar 16: THE CIRCUS OF HORRORS. The show that stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent is back with London after Midnight, a new production packed with shocks that will take you on a whirlwind journey though a plague-ridden London in 1665, culminating in the Great Fire of London in 1666.

Mar 17/18/24 & 25: NORTH SOMERSET SCHOOLS’ DANCE FESTIVAL. Talented youngsters from all over the district gather to stage their annual, high-energy, high-kicking dance spectacular.

Mar 20: CLARE TEAL - THE DIVAS AND ME! The UK’s queen of swing celebrates the music of her heroines, the leading lights of the jazz and big band world - Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Judy Garland, Doris Day and many of their illustrious contemporaries.

Mar 21: THAT’LL BE THE DAY. It’s party time again as the nation’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll variety show returns with a fantastic line-up of knock-out hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, mixed with more zany comedy routines.

Mar 22: STARS OF STRICTLY COME DANCING. Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas and their spectacular dance troupe stage a brand new ballroom and latin show, a carnival of music, dance, costumes and sparkles.
