Until April 26: THINGS WE DO FOR LOVE. Australian actress-turned-popstar Natalie Imbruglia stars in Alan Ayckbourn’s hit play which sees bedroom farce develop into something more complex as the two chief adversaries fall head over heels in lust.

April 28-May 3: HMS PINAFORE. Beautifully and imaginatively staged with exquisite period costumes, Carl Rosa Opera present Gilbert and Sullivan’s sea-faring smash hit, a hilarious tale of love, hypocrisy and mistaken identity which unravels when the captain’s daughter secretly falls in love with a common sailor.

May 5-10: UNDER MILK WOOD. Game Of Thrones star Owen Teale and Kai Owen (Torchwood) head the cast in Dylan Thomas’ work of genius. Rich in humour and populated by sublime, enchanting characters, it offers an unforgettable journey to the roots of language and on into the soul of Wales.

May 12-17: LAST OF THE DUTY FREE. Hold onto your sombreros - stars from of one of the UK’s best loved romantic sitcoms are getting back together for one last fling. Keith Barron, Gwen Taylor and Neil Stacy play-out the next instalment in a series which regularly pulled in TV audiences of over 12 million viewers.

April 30-May 3: ROBIN COUSINS’ ICE. The Olympic champion and Dancing On Ice judge has hand-picked the greatest skaters from around the globe to bring his incredible new production - which promises to redefine ice skating for a whole new generation - to life.

May 5-10: LET IT BE. Direct from the West End, this international hit show celebrates the legacy of the world’s greatest rock ‘n’ roll band. Relive The Beatles’ meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool through the heights of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.

May 11: YES. Performing three of rock and roll’s most revered albums, Chris Squire (bass), Steve Howe (guitar), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), and Jon Davison (vocals) will delight audiences with Yes’ staple hits from the last four decades.

May 12-17: 20th CENTURY BOY. This brand new musical, inspired by the life of rock legend Marc Bolan, explodes onto stage nearly 40 years after the star’s tragic death. Featuring some of the greatest pop songs ever written, it tells the story of Marc and his band T Rex, exposing some of the myths and taking the audience on a tearful yet joyful journey through his fascinating life.

May 18: JOE BROWN IN CONCERT. Packed with timeless classics, rockabilly, gospel, country, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll, all interwoven with Joe’s effervescent delivery and humorous reminiscences, this eclectic, sensational show is a musical journey not to be missed.

April 26 (The Lantern): THE BEST IN UK STAND UP - PAUL SINHA. A qualified GP, Paul Sinha began performing stand-up when he was a junior doctor in London. He is now best known as one of the chasers on the hit ITV quiz show The Chase.

May 2/3: FRANK SKINNER. The ever-popular “clown prince of laddism smartens up his act” (The Guardian), losing the filth in favour of more sophisticated subject matters - from celebrity and homelessness to Japanese poetry - on his latest stand-up tour.

May 8 (The Lantern): THE NOISE NEXT DOOR. Your chance to catch a 100 per cent improvised comedy troupe who have had six sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and are one of the country’s most sought after comedy club headliners.

May 13: ELVIS PRESLEY ON STAGE. Using the latest technology, Elvis performs via state-of-the art video screens singing lead vocals backed by a live band, singers and an orchestra. Together, this multi-media creation puts the audience inside an Elvis Presley concert presented exactly like one of his classic live performances in a Las Vegas showroom.

May 17: I’M SORRY I HAVEN’T A CLUE. Following sell-out tours in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, BBC Radio’s multi-award-winning antidote to panel games is back on the road, with Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Jeremy Hardy and Jack Dee hosting an evening of inspired nonsense.

May 17 (The Lantern) THE BEST IN UK STAND-UP - ALUN COCHRANE & CO. Nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2004 Perrier Awards, Alun Cochrane now appears on Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio Show every Saturday morning. “Watching his show is like being in the pub with your funniest friend,” says The Telegraph.

April 26: RAFA CONCERT BAND. The popular Weston band, along with special guests, presents its annual Music in the Air spring concert.

Join Weston Operatic Society on a trip to a house party at Harefield Hall where there is great excitement that the missing heir to the Earldom of Harefield has been found. He turns out to be a pugnacious cockney from Lambeth, Bill Snibson. Can the gentry mould Bill to their way of life, or will his cockney spirit win out in the end?

April 27; WESTON YOUTH ORCHESTRA. The town’s talented young musicians stage their annual spring concert, featuring both the junior and senior orchestras.

April 29: THE FUREYS IN CONCERT. Legends of Irish music and song, The Fureys and Davey Arthur have been entertaining audiences worldwide for 36 years and are responsible for some of the most stirring music ever to capture the public imagination.

May 2: THE UKULELE ORCHESTRA OF GREAT BRITAIN. The renowned musicians stop off in Weston with their funny, stomping, toe tapping, all-singing, all-plucking obituary of rock and roll and melodious light entertainment.

May 3: ED BYRNE. A self-confessed ‘miserable old git’ since the age of 23, Ed is now in his 40s. While for others this might result in a crisis that prompts the purchase of a sports car, Ed embraces middle age with open arms. Come join him, as he truly comes of age and declares: “I am in my 40s - hear me roar!”

May 4: BRISTOL RUSSIAN BALLET SCHOOL. Special guest principal dancers Elena Glurdjidze and Arionel Vargas, leading members of the English National Ballet, present the classic fairytale Cinderella.

May 6: SAVING MR BANKS (film). Inspired by the extraordinary, untold backstory of how Disney’s classic Mary Poppins made it to the screen, Saving Mr Banks stars Colin Farrell, Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks.
