Sid Sloane helped to launch CBeebies children’s television channel and last year appeared in a brand-new show Let’s Play, inspiring pre-school children to discover the world through creative role-play and dressing-up.
This year he embarks on a new tour of his own live production, Sid’s Show, which can be seen in venues across the UK until June 2013.
Join Sid at The Playhouse in Weston at 2pm on April 28 as he sets out on a heroic quest to find out where in the world his favourite socks and shoes have got to.
Share in the adventure at the bottom of the sea, deep in the jungle or floating in outer space you will meet some funny characters and discover plenty of surprises along the way.
In an interactive experience crammed with games, songs, poems and magic, Sid’s Show will leave you with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

Sid has been enjoying a successful career in acting since changing career from stockbroking to study acting in 1997 in Brighton.
A successful audition landed him a main role in the Belgrade Theatre Company’s production of The Twits which took on a theatre tour of the UK.
After an invitation to meet with some BBC executives and a screen-test for the possible role as a presenter, a formal job offer was made and he has not looked back.
