The Backwell Playing Fields Open Day: The open day in May was attended by more than 100 people of all ages. As a result we received more than 60 good suggestions and a wide range of skilled people, over 30, volunteering their services.The chairman of the trustees works away a great deal and has only just managed to complete reading everything and has yet to catalogue it all.It will not be practical to reply personally to each suggestion or offer of help but we are grateful for all the encouragement and ideas that we were given and as we need to draw on those skills we will certainly call the appropriate person.We now have a post collection address at the Backwell Post Office and Stores for any further communications.Thank you again for all your support.The chairman of the trustees
