WEEK in and week out you treat us to photographs of our smiling Mayor and Mayoress as they carry out their unpaid duties representing our town. It seems any local event from care home opening, business enterprises or welcoming visitors of all descriptions can call on Cllr Charles and Mrs Gillian Heard for support.Young Mitchell Hammond summed up his day with the Mayor by saying "He laughed all the time" and that seems to sum up the whole year with Charles as Mayor.I feel Weston has been represented with distinction and we should all be grateful we have people of this calibre who give their time and energy working for the good of us all.TONY HELLIKERAddicott Road, Weston
