LAST week I had the misfortune to have my purse/wallet stolen while shopping in Tesco. I now understand that there were four other besides me in the same position, some like me - elderly.I am writing to say a sincere 'thank you' for the way I was helped by Tesco staff, one in particular who took me to the police station and was really helpful. One lovely lady, a complete stranger, who insisted on giving me the money for a taxi home, and then disappeared, and the taxi driver who, knowing my position, didn't charge me, although I offered to get money from my home if he waited. How good to know there are still a lot of kind, helpful and honest people around. Thank you all again.NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
