Thoughtfully and professionally

I WAS saddened to read the views of some of our parish council and members in the Somerset edition, re: parking, noise and urinating in hedges, etc.

I WAS saddened to read the views of some of our parish council and members in the Somerset edition, re: parking, noise and urinating in hedges, etc. I have 58 years of managing and organising events and consider myself and Chris, my partner, had organised this event thoughtfully and professionally.Adequate toilets were provided, first aid was in attendance and the music finished five minutes before the allotted time of 11pm. Everyone vacated Wavering Down House (Frankie Howerd's former home) by 11.25pm with no incidents or accidents. Chris and myself always put people's welfare before everything else. The people that attended and enjoyed this special event ranged from young children to farm workers, policemen, doctors and magistrates etc. Let's try to make this a happy and memorable event, from the support of your good selves and readers, with a unique setting for a unique person.DENNIS S HEYMER - Wavering Down House, Cross.
