TALENTED artists will be able to exhibit and sell their work on Clevedon seafront this summer. The initiative was originally proposed by local artist Graham Bridges and supported by Clevedon councillor Chanel Stevens and North Somerset Council. The displays will take place once a month, but will include other occasional weekends throughout the summer.Up to 20 local artists will be able to hang their work on the seafront railings by the bandstand.Mr Bridges said: "All artists are welcome to display and there is no charge and all people have to do is fill on a form which is available from any of the artists."There is nothing like having a go and finding someone actually wants to buy your work."The next chance to view the artwork and find out more and view the work is over the town's Brunel festival weekend. Cllr Stevens said: "I would like to encourage any local artist to have a go."We want more schemes like this as it makes Clevedon an attractive and imaginative place to visit or live in."For more information contact Cllr Stevens on 0777 6170030.
