DOZENS of local artists will put their wares up for sale at an art exhibition taking place in Weston this week.

The event at the Boulevard United Reformed Church in Waterloo Street from tomorrow (Fri) to Sunday could see up to 100 pieces of art sold with the proceeds going to Christian Aid.

Organiser Sally Davis said: “This is the latest of what has become an annual exhibition in aid of the charity.

“This year we have somewhere between 90-100 paintings which will be exhibited and a number of photographers will also be showing their work.”

There will also be stalls, a second-hand book sale and refreshments throughout the event.

The event will take place tomorrow (Fri) and Saturday from 10am-4pm and from 12.30-4pm on Sunday.
