The free event is a great opportunity to get an insight into what inspires the best of the South West.

Ten selected artists, including Ruth Piper and Anne Adamson, will be showcasing fresh work in a unique collection.

Other participating artists include photographer Dave Morgan-Davies, Penny Jones, Luke Mitchell, Astrid Foreman, Ruth Wallace, Jess Bartlett and Midge Naylor.

Wells artist Heather Jane Wallace, whose paintings often feature a small dog much like the work of William Hogarth, will also be exhibiting.

The exhibition will run from Saturday to June 7 and will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 11am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm at the Sidcot Art Centre in Oakridge Lane.
