WINNER of the BBC show So You Think You Can Dance, Matt Flint, has given a Weston dance studio some top tips in one of his workshops.

Pupils from The Dance Company, based at Studio Fifty Five in Churchill Road, learned musical theatre and commercial dance routines from the TV star and were wowed by his energy and enthusiasm for dance.

The dance school, which holds 350 children from Weston, Worle, Congresbury and Cheddar, often perform at The Playhouse and were excited to learn some of the star’s skills.

Matt has just finished choreographing for the next Streetdance All Stars 3D movie and took time from his busy schedule to teach the youngsters.

Co-principal of The Dance Company, Marina Fairhead, said “Matt showed us why he was such a deserving winner of So You Think You Can Dance.

“From the start to the end of his day with us, his passion and love of dance inspired all who met him. We were delighted to give this opportunity to our students.”
