A MIX of up-and-coming talents from Weston and across the art world unveiled new work at a major new exhibition this week.

Six local artists rubbed shoulders with highly-regarded peers from around the UK and across the Atlantic at the Resurrection exhibition which opened at The Gallery@ in Locking Road.

Weston’s Jamie Scanlon – known as JPS – organised and fronted the event, which also featured work from Mason Storm, one of the biggest names on Britain’s urban art scene, and Los Angeles-based street artist Free Humanity.

Featured work was united by the common inspiration of bringing famous faces back from the dead through a variety of different media.

People as diverse as Michael Jackson, Bob Monkhouse, Heath Ledger, Tupac Shakur and Hunter S Thompson were among the famous names featured.

The exhibition will run until Monday.
