A RENOWNED photographer who has toured with the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney will lecture at Sidcot Arts Centre tomorrow (Thurs).

Homer Sykes will give the free talk about his twin passions of the country of Myanmar and British society in the 1980s at the centre at 7pm.

The former photo journalist is one of the few photographers to have had their work on display at the Tate Gallery in London, and his photographs taken while on tour with Paul McCartney and Wings in 1975 were recently exhibited at the centre.

The event is one of a series of Darwen lectures held at Sidcot School, and named after the Davies family which was linked to the school for more than 100 years.
