BOND girls and other film and television stars will be among those who will be in town later this month for a sci-fi spectacular.

Stars Of Time will be held at The Helicopter Museum in Locking Moor Road, Weston, from 10am-5.30pm on July 29.

Caroline Munro and Shirley Eaton, of James Bond fame, will be among the stars attending the event, along with former Dr Who Colin Baker and Ian Furey-Smith, who starred in War Horse and Atonement.

Colin told the Mercury this week: “I know Weston well as I have family connections there.

“In fact I like it so much I took my family to Weston on holiday a few years ago.

“I’m going to be meeting fans on the day of the show, signing autographs.

“Even though I’m heading to Weston from Liverpool where I’m working on the Saturday, it’ll be worth the journey.”

Kitt, the car from 1980s classic show Knight Rider, will be on show to the public.

Caroline Munro, who starred in The Spy Who Loved Me and The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad, will celebrate 50 years of 007 in 2012 by offering three lucky winners the chance to fly with a Bond girl through a prize draw.

Winners will receive a helicopter flight over Weston in a Jetranger helicopter with her.

There will also be autograph signings, pleasure flights, as well as the Tardis on display.

Children can enjoy face painting, a fancy dress competition and can sit in a life-sized Dalek.

Tickets are priced £6.50-10, with family tickets available.
