Shazia Mirza will play in Bristol.

Shazia Mirza returns to stand-up comedy with a new show, stopping in the South West.

Following her critically acclaimed 103-date sell-out tour, Shazia is back on the road and fresh from being ravaged by hunger and sandflies on Channel Four’s Celebrity Island.

Her new show, With Love From St Tropez, will come to Bristol in May, and focuses on lies and how they surround our lives and the world we live in.

In a wide ranging set, Shazia also explores ideas surrounding nudity and the periodic table.

In 2008, she was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy and won columnist of the year at the prestigious PPA Awards.

Shazia Mirza will play in The Lantern room at Colston Hall, in Colston Street, on May 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets, priced £15.05 are available at www.colstonhall.org or on 01172 034040.
