TWO more comedians will perform at the last stand-up show at Weston’s Blakehay Theatre.

The show on May 10 will be the last of the first run of shows at the Wadham Street venue, with organisers hoping to return with a second wave later in the year.

Stuart Goldsmith will headline the event with Elis James and regular compere John Robins also on the bill.

Goldsmith’s infectious banter channels the effortless charisma and quick-fire timing honed over a youth spent as a street performer.

His set contains anecdotes galore displaying a wonderfully inventive, playful and deeply-individual look at sexuality and relationships.

Welsh raconteur Elis James has the charm to win over any audience with his intricately-woven tales which are generously peppered with hilarious moments.

The Cardiff-based comedian began his comedy career in 2005 and announced himself onto the national scene with the best comedy prize at the National Student Radio Awards in 2006.

Hosting proceedings once again is Bristolian John Robins, host of many nights at The Comedy Box in Bristol and a long-term favourite with audiences due to his whimsical and easy-going manner.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 8pm, are priced £10-12, and are available from the box office on 01934 645493 or www.TheComedyBox.co.uk
