Jasper Carrott preparing for The Playhouse

A mixture of comedy and music will be at Weston-super-Mare’s Playhouse for not one but two nights this May, as Jasper Carrott takes over the venue.

Carott will be regaling the audience with his stand-up routines before introducing his musical compatriots that have been rocking audiences all over the world.

In the late 1960s Carrott started his own folk club where he would perform songs and act as an MC. By the 1970s the star was famous for his anecdotal comedy and his live performances have since wowed thousands of people across the globe.

Jasper Carrott’s Stand Up And Rock will be at The Playhouse in High Street on May 2-3, with performances at 7.30pm each night.
