'Quick sand is too exciting for Weston' - Jimmy Carr tweets pictures from his stay in town

Comedian Jimmy Carr arrived in Weston-super-Mare at the weekend for two shows - and he must have enjoyed his stay as he posted some amusing pictures while he was out and about.
Carr performed at The Playhouse, in High Street, on Saturday and Sunday, and made the most of his time in Weston with a walk around town and to the seafront.
He is known for his one-line quips, and his comments on Weston were true to form.
Taking pictures of a knitted version of himself, Carr commented on the beach signs, which say ‘danger, sinking mud’.
He said: “I guess they put “sinking mud” because “quick sand” sounds too exciting for Weston-super-Mare.”
He also took a picture of the knitted Jimmy Carr doll by a piece of street art created by JPS near Upper Church Road. The work features Gogo from the Kill Bill films.
Carr must have found plenty of funny material in Weston, as most of his pictures throughout the Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits tour have been of theatres instead of the places he has visited.
