Top funnymen head to Weston

A TRIO of top touring comedians will be making their first appearance at a Weston venue later this month.
The Official Comedy Club is a nationally-renowned group with a firmly established reputation for making stars of its performers.
Indeed, in recent years the group has launched the careers of TV funnymen Jimmy Carr, Michael McIntyre and Jason Manford, who have all gone on to become household names.
On July 27, the club will be heading to Weston’s Allstars Sports Bar in Regent Street with a whole new generation of rising stars.
Host for the evening will be Will Marsh, who has been featured on several BBC1 comedy shows, and is renowned for his observational black comedy.
The midlander also has a reputation for his leftfield views – and suggests audiences ‘may even think about life a differently’ after enjoying his routine.
Jason Patterson – a familiar name to viewers of BBC3 and MTV – is the award-winning performer up second.
A professional comedian since 2006, Jason has a burgeoning stand-up reputation as well as TV sketch shows credits under his belt.
In 2010, he won Loaded Lafta’s Rising Star comedy award, and is tipped as ‘one to watch out for’ for lovers of original comedy.
And headline act is the irresistibly amiable John Ryan, who uses his acerbic wit and seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of the world to keep any audience on their toes.
An Irishman with an East End upbringing, John’s high energy, warmth and ability to think on his feet and adapt his act to any audience are legendary.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with show time scheduled for 8pm. Standard tickets, priced at £9, are available from the box office on 01934 419111 or via email@example.com, with VIP options for group bookings also on offer.
