Bristol Comedy Garden will return to Queen Square from June 14-18 with arguably its finest line-up yet.

The square will be transformed into a comedy wonderland to host performances from some of the world’s funniest people.

The host of Channel 4’s Last Leg, Adam Hills, will perform at the event as will Inbetweeners star Greg Davies and other well-known stars including Ross Noble and Sara Pascoe.

This is the sixth year the event has taken place, and there are more than two dozen acts on its line-up, offering something for everyone.

Mark Watson – who is known for encouraging chaotic audience interaction – will open the event on June 14 alongside Joe Lycett, who is known for his appearances on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Mock The Week regular James Acaster while John Robins will host the first night.

Rich Hall, Steward Francis and Nina Conti are also all set to perform at the event, meaning there will be something on offer for all tastes.

A Big Top tent will be installed in the square to create a festival-style setting in the heart of Bristol.

The festival’s producer Cass Randolph said: “Comedy greats like Noble and Davies have been at the top of our wish-list since we started the Comedy Garden back in 2011 and to be able to present them alongside these other incredible acts is really an honour.

“We can’t wait to return to Queen Square to put these big names in front of our Bristol audiences who we know will make this year the best yet.”

The festival of laughs will also boast a selection of gourmet street-food and bars for people to enjoy a spot of Pimm’s in the sunshine.

Bristol Comedy Garden will run from 6-10.30pm on June 14, 15 and 16 and 2.30-10.30pm on June 17 and 18.

Full line-up details, timings and tickets, priced £18.50-24, are available online at www.bristolcomedygarden.co.uk
