A TRADITIONAL pantomime performance of a Disney smash hit will be put on by a village arts group.

Wrington Drama Club will present Aladdin, the Arab folktale of a street urchin who falls in love with a princess and encounters a magical lamp.

The show is directed by Fred Cowgill and performances will take place in Wrington Memorial Hall from January 13 - 16.

A full cast of adults and children have been busy rehearsing during the autumn, supported by a chorus with a range of songs, dancing and music from Paul Martin.

The show includes the usual mix of bad jokes, puns, visual humour and local references which are sure to blow away those January blues.

Evening performances start at 7.30pm and there is a matinee performance on the Saturday starting at 2.30 pm.

Refreshments and a bar will be available for evening performances.

Tickets are now on sale and cost £5 for adults and children except for the Friday and Saturday evening shows which cost £8.

Tickets are available from Wrington shops or from Steve Osman on osmansteve@yahoo.co.uk or call 01934 862726.
