TICKETS for an exciting Grand Pier event are up for grabs this week as part of a competition.
My Fair Baby, which is supported by the Mercury, will be held on the Weston attraction on November 28.
Parents, as well as expectant mothers and fathers, will be able to enjoy a range of useful resources to help them with their little ones.
Extras added to the line-up this week are free activities like baby massage classes, bump-painting and a sing and sign class.
Children across the area are also being invited to take part in an exciting photo competition and have the opportunity to be crowned the Face of the Pier.
Entries have been flooding in and the winning youngster will be used by the Grand Pier in some promotional materials about the new landmark attraction.
All the entrants will have their pictures printed in the Mercury and readers can vote via phone or text for the winner.
There are three categories for the competition, up to nine months old, nine months to two years old and two to four years old.
Each category winner will get a full studio shoot and £100 worth of pictures from Vanda Photography in Milton Road and the overall winner will be crowned the Face of the Pier.
Tickets, priced £2 in advance, can be bought online at www.myfairbaby.org.uk or from the Mercury office and Coochy Coo, both in Waterloo Street, Weston and Boo Coo in Station Road, Pill. They will be available for £2.50 on the door.
The Mercury has teamed up with event organisers to offer 10 lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the event.
