CHILDREN'S centres in Weston are inviting families to come along to their annual fiery fun event.

It will take place on October 26, between 2.30-5.30pm, in the glade in Weston Woods, close to the Worlebury Hill entrance.

There is a fire where children are encouraged to toast marshmallows and make bread and youngsters can also carry around glass jars with tea lights in, under supervision.

There will be lots of craft activities, a story walk and Bristol Zoo will be there with some of their creepy crawlies.

Bring a picnic tea or soup and a roll will be on sale at £1 per adult and 50p per child.

There is a nominal 50p charge for the event, which is being organised by the children’s centres for Milton and Old Worle, Weston Central, South Weston and Ashcombe.

For more details call Emma Pattinson at Central Weston’s Children’s Centre on 01934 426794.
