OUR sub-zero heroes from the 2002 blockbuster Ice Age are back - Manny the woolly mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger and the hapless saber-toothed squirrel known as Scrat. From the team that also brought us last year's brilliant animated adventure Robots, Ice Age 2 sees our intrepid trio in another sticky situation. With the Ice Age coming to an end, the animals are delighting in the melting paradise that is their new world. But Manny, Sid, and Diego soon learn that the warming climate has one major drawback - a huge glacial dam is about to break, threatening the entire valley which has become their home. The only chance of survival lies at the other end of the valley. So our three heroes, along with a mammoth named Ellie (Queen Latifah) and her two brothers - possums Crash and Eddie - embark on a mission across an increasingly dangerous landscape towards their salvation.Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary once again provide the voices for our three lovable heroes in this eagerly awaited sequel to one of best animated movies ever made.
