Jazz for Luhimba

A JAZZ band is reforming to raise money for a Weston-based charity. The Axe Valley Jazz Men are getting together to belt out some tunes for the Luhimba Project, which is run by Paul Temple. Over the years the project has helped achieve much in the village

A JAZZ band is reforming to raise money for a Weston-based charity.The Axe Valley Jazz Men are getting together to belt out some tunes for the Luhimba Project, which is run by Paul Temple.Over the years the project has helped achieve much in the village of Luhimba in Tanzania, Africa. It has helped create a medical dispensary, provided water pumps and sponsored children's education.The band will play music in the style of Stephane Grappelli at weddings, parties and other functions for £100.
