Bourne is back and searching for answers

A fan-favourite spy series returned to cinema screens this week, as a 10-year wait for answers is finally over.
Premiering nationwide yesterday (Wednesday), the United States’ memory-challenged answer to James Bond, Jason Bourne, is back — 10 years after walking away from the agency who trained him to become a lethal weapon.
Matt Damon stars in Jason Bourne, the fifth instalment in the Bourne series, joined by Hollywood big-hitters Julia Stiles and Tommy Lee Jones, while Vincent Cassell stars as Asset, an assassin planning to take out Bourne.
Paul Greengrass, director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of the Bourne franchise.
Bourne is off the grid, laying low in an Eastern European fight club, beating up thugs for cash – but he may be ready to blow the cover of the killer organisation he is part of.
There have been 10 years of uncertainty for Bourne fans since the spy escaped from Moscow in The Bourne Ultimatum, with Damon not involved in series’ most-recent instalment The Bourne Legacy, but as the secret agent emerges from the shadows to continue his quest to find his true identity, he stumbles into a world high in tension and lacking in stability.
The amnesiac’s forgotten story has left viewers with many questions and theories about the spy’s history, and Bourne, knowing more about his past, finally wants answers and wants to set the record straight.
