GET ready to rock out as the hit Broadway musical Rock Of Ages (12A) takes to the big screen – with big stars and even bigger riffs.

The film tells the tale of two young dreamers who meet on Los Angeles’ famous Sunset Strip while trying to break Hollywood’s big time.

Though it is very much love at first sight, the couple have to overcome several obstacles on their road to happiness.

To the delight of rock fans, their tale is told using some of the greatest classics of the genre, from Def Leppard to Joan Jett, Journey and Whitesnake – to name a few.

The cast is just as stand-out – Tom Cruise (Top Gun, Minority Report), Julianne Hough (Burlesque), Russell Brand (Get Him To The Greek) and Catherine Zeta Jones (Chicago) are all on the film’s billing.

Based on one of the most successful musicals of recent years, Rock Of Ages is set to be a treat for rock fans as much as movie-goers, packed with power chords as well as telling an engaging story of true love.

Rock Of Ages is out on June 15.
