Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis stars in Steven Spielberg’s drama about Abraham Lincoln.

STEVEN Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis in the revealing drama Lincoln (12A), which focuses on the 16th president’s tumultuous final months in office.

In a nation divided by conflict and the strong winds of change, Abraham Lincoln pursued a course of action designed to end the Amercian civil war, unite the country and abolish slavery.

With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during a critical period in US history changed the fate of generations to come.

Daniel Day-Lewis takes on the role of the revered US president, portraying his struggle not only against the Confederate army but also within his own circle as he fights to end slavery.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) and Tommy Lee Jones (Men In Black) also star in the monumental tale of the man who shaped America. It is out tomorrow (Fri).
